Here are just a few examples:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The country has a highly developed <strong>mining sector<\/strong>, with <strong>copper<\/strong> being the most important production, totalling more than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/statistics\/254845\/copper-production-of-chile\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">5.7 million tonnes in 2020<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Investment in <strong>renewable energy<\/strong> by 2040 is expected to exceed <strong>USD 9 billion<\/strong>, as confirmed by <a href=\"https:\/\/global-climatescope.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Bloomberg&#8217;s Climatescope 2020 report<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>It has a large and structured <strong>agri-food industry<\/strong>, with some productions (wine and fish in the lead).<\/li>\n<li>It adheres to <strong>more than<\/strong> <strong>20 free trade agreements<\/strong> as a member of the WTO, making it an ideal country for reaching other international markets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These and other factors are proof to the dynamism of the country, offering c<strong>oncrete business opportunities<\/strong> for many companies.<\/p>\n<h3>What to export to Chile: the products to sell<\/h3>\n<p>The <strong>vitality<\/strong> of the Chilean economy, together with its <strong>great openness to international trade<\/strong>, has long allowed many businesses to promote their products and services.<\/p>\n<p>What are the most demanded?<\/p>\n<p>The enormous weight of the <strong>agri-food industry<\/strong> translates into <strong>export opportunities<\/strong> for companies specialising in <strong>machinery<\/strong> and <strong>equipment<\/strong> used in this field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Agricultural machinery<\/strong>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.matchplat.com\/en\/facts-and-figures-about-italian-packaging-machines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong> packaging systems<\/strong> <\/a>and <strong>refrigeration plants<\/strong> are just a few examples of manufactured products that could find further space in Chile, thanks to the powerful role that the country has been able to carve out in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>Chile is in the top 10 in the world for the production of table grapes, and is also <strong>one of the largest wine producers in the world<\/strong> with over<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amfori.org\/sites\/default\/files\/amfori-2020-01-29-Brochure-Chilean-Wine-Programme_0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"> 2 million tonnes of grapes harvested in 2018<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Fish production is also a major strength of the food sector, with over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oecd.org\/agriculture\/topics\/fisheries-and-aquaculture\/documents\/report_cn_fish_chl.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">3.7 million tonnes of fish produced in 2018<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The huge investments in <strong>renewable energies<\/strong> already mentioned above are also an opportunity for companies specialising in wind and solar power plants; the same applies to companies dealing with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.matchplat.com\/en\/electrical-engineering-industry-a-strategic-market\/\">electrical equipment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Good opportunities have also emerged in recent years for <strong>chemical products<\/strong>, including pharmaceutical ones.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, interesting data is recorded for the supply of earth-moving machinery such as <strong>excavators<\/strong>, <strong>mechanical shovels<\/strong> and related components, which are in great demand by companies in the Chilean mining sector.<\/p>\n<p>Exporting to Chile could therefore be a <strong>profitable strategy<\/strong> for companies in these industries and companies entering the South American continent for the first time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Exporting to Chile can be a rewarding strategy for many companies from different industries.
